2. Application and Acceptance

These terms govern use of our site and all purchases. By browsing, registering, or ordering, you accept them. If you are under 18, you need parental or guardian consent.

3. Use of Website

No unlawful use, no scraping without permission, no interference with the site. We may suspend access for breaches of these terms.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

• No contract exists until we accept your order and receive full payment
• Orders are subject to stock availability ("while stocks last")
• We may cancel and refund if pricing or stock errors occur
• An acknowledgment email does not constitute acceptance — a confirmation email creates the binding contract

5. Payment

• Payments are processed via PayFast
• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include/exclude VAT as stated
• Proof of payment is required for EFT transactions
• We do not store your credit card details on our servers

6. Delivery and Shipping

• Options: Aramex, PostNet, or in-store collection at our Springs, Gauteng location
• Risk passes on handover to courier or on collection
• Delivery time estimates are provided but not guaranteed — delays are possible
• No delivery to PO Boxes; please provide a physical address
• We are not liable for courier delays or loss after dispatch, but will assist with claims
• Inspect goods upon receipt and report any damage immediately

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Return Window

30 days from delivery for most items (full refund or exchange if unsatisfied).

Return Conditions

• Unused, in original packaging
• All accessories and documentation included
• No damage or wear
• Proof of purchase required

Non-Returnable Items

• Software with broken seals
• Consumables (thermal paste, etc.)
• Customised or special-order items
• Items marked as "Final Sale"

How to Return

1. Email info@statikko.co.za with your order number
2. Receive return authorisation and shipping instructions
3. Package securely in original packaging
4. Ship via approved method (you pay return shipping unless the item is defective)
5. Refund processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the return

Defective Items

Contact us immediately. We arrange free return shipping, replacement, or refund. Manufacturer warranties apply (typically 1-3 years). We assist with claims. Serial numbers are collected for warranty processing.

CPA Cooling-Off Period

For distance sales, you have 5 business days to change your mind (unopened/unused items). However, our 30-day return policy exceeds this where applicable.

8. Warranties and Liability

• Manufacturer warranties are honoured. No additional warranty from us unless stated
• No warranty on fitness for a particular purpose beyond CPA requirements
• Our total liability is limited to the order value; no indirect or consequential damages (to the extent permitted by law)
• The site is provided "as is" — no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is ours or licensed to us. No unauthorised use is permitted.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with POPIA.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Gauteng courts.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, strikes, or government actions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability

If any clause is found to be invalid, it will be severed and the remaining terms will continue in full force.
